Turku!

Yesterday I went to visit Turku.

Turku was the capital of Helsinki long time ago. Is a small city, nice but not prepared to tourism, I don't know why!...

The only thing refered to tourism is an old machine that gives you one map after "30 seconds". There are no shops to try to lie tourists with this kind of presents and stuff.

But Turku has nice places to visit:

The main square: where you can buy fruits, vegetables, flowers...

Here you can find Elvis selling you vegetables:

Near to this square, you can find the river. A long river used as a port (like in Bilbao)

After this nice way, we arrived to the castle. An old fortress that was built in 1280. Is not very big, at least if you compare this fortress with the ones that are in Spain.

Then we continue walking and then Ruben found this building: Mikaelinkirkko
Is a very nice modern church, simple but beautiful as you can see in the pictures

And then.... lunch time, after 3 hours walking and visiting Turku, we needed some energy, and where can you find the best energy in Finland? At the pizza-kebab restaurant!!!

Finally... Turku... is a nice city, with its defects about toursim but it can be a good option to spend your free time at least for some hours.

PD:
Here in Finland you can find people like this man:

please don't make jokes with his name :P, his parents didn't know what is the meaning spanish, don't be bad, come on!!!!
